Into The Double Digits!!!

Sophia is 10 months old now - which I'm not going to say is crazy or hard to believe because, hey, it comes after 9 months, but as any mom knows it's gone by pretty fast! This last month wasn't as bad as August - I'm still not sure where that went - and I was able to enjoy her more in her 9th month of life. Now I will need to get some pictures up here, I know, but since I'm house/dog sitting at my sister-in-law's I just plain don't really have any, so I'll add them later. :) Here's what Sophia was up to in September:

1: Getting MUCH better at standing by herself, though she still hasn't tried to take a step
2: Crawling at light speed
3: Finding lots of microscopic things on the floor to put in her mouth
4: Crawling away from mommy at light speed when mommy catches her putting things in her mouth or when she's caught going somewhere she's not supposed to
5: Crawled up some stairs for the first time - and by some stairs I mean she crawled up 8 FREAKING STAIRS all by herself!!! I was behind her every step and I didn't have to help her until she got tired at stair number 8 and cried for me to pick her up! Yep, crazy, I know!
6: Popped not one, but 2 teeth at the same time! (What a champ!)
7: Kisses every kid she can
8: Babbles like it's going out of style - seriously sounds like she's just rattling off in another language, it's crazy!
9: Learned how to turn the pages of books on her own
10: Has bonked her head or fallen over so many times that I'm sure she's secretly made of indestructable material. She's a pretty tough girl and never cries for long (if at all!), which I love! :)

So that's my Sophia in a nutshell. She is pushing every limit she has and trying to conquer it (except walking - I'm sure she could but she has no desire to take that first step on her own yet - maybe this month though...) She also loves to eat strawberries, bananas, peeled grapes, oreos, and any type of cracker. Oh, and I also took her to her first marching band competition! She was NOT a fan at first, but by the end she looked like she was trying to conduct! I'll get pictures and more details later. :)
