*Three Things*

Three jobs I have had in my life:
-Movie Theater
-LaBeau’s of Bear Lake (BEST job ever!)
-Worked in a paper factory where we printed other company’s mail, bills, and even rebate checks.

Three places I have lived:
-Hyrum UT
-Garden City (Bear Lake) UT
-Murray, Bluffdale and West Valley City UT

Three shows that I watch (or at least would like to be able to watch):
-Smallville
-Heroes
-24
*Some of my other favorites though are:
Scrubs, Reno 911, Family Guy, South Park, E! News, The Soup, Chelsea Lately, Monk, and I’ve been watching some Law and Order lately and have been enjoying that…

Three places I have been:
-Dallas Texas (road trip with friends)
-Ensanada, Mexico (Honeymoon)
-Various parts of California (going on “the truck” with my dad, road trips with friends, honeymoon, visiting my sister)…Yeah, not very exciting, but I had fun!

Three of my Favorite foods:
-Alfredo
-Breakfast cereal
-Pilafi Rice with Chicken and veggies (greek recipe my boss gave me – soooo good!)

Three places I'd rather be right now:
-At home reading my book
-At home with a baby (yeah, I know, totally baby hungry!)
-hiking or on a beach ANYWHERE! (It’s been so long!)
Three favorite books:
Hmmm, let’s do three favorite series:
-Twilight series
-The Dresden Files
-Harry Potter series
If you refer to my previous blog though, there’s a list that I really love. And this list could always change as I haven’t finished reading Angels and Demons yet and I haven’t read The Host yet…

Three things I can do well:
-I can train a class like nobodies business!
-I can play the piano (if I had one I would be better)
-I can read really fast. ;)

Three things I want to learn how to do:
-Cook
-Scrapbook or just do cute little crafty things
-more yoga (I’m really rusty)

Three things you might not guess about me:
-I have double jointed elbows, hips, toes and thumbs
-I love acting, and always wanted to be a famous actress, which is why I watch the E! True Hollywood Stories all the time.
-I love cleaning small corners and scrubbing between tiles and stuff – mostly detail cleaning, but I hate bulk cleaning and laundry.

Three things I am looking forward to this year:
Hard one. I don’t really have anything coming up. Well, these can be wishes too, right?
-Time off at the end of July with Jon, that will be fun
-I would look forward to starting a family this year, but it probably won’t happen
-By this time next year I’ll be excited about Jon finishing his generals and going to Pharmacy school! But that’s next year.

Well, not too exciting, but there it is! (BTW, I stole this from Jen, hers is much more exciting.) J

Rainy Days

So I've been reading a lot lately, which is great because I used to read all of the time and over the last few years I'd just kind of stopped. Well, I used to read because I had no friends, and I guess that marriage does give you a friend for all hours of the night and day, so I just haven't had the need for books as much. :) In any case, when I got married, really the only books I was reading were Harry Potter and Tennis Shoes Among the Nephites (by Chris Heimerdinger - AWESOME books, go check them out!). Earlier this year though, I was introduced to Twilight and I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE these books! If you haven't read them yet, go get them and read them! Sadly though, there were only three (until August 2nd, then I get my fourth one, yay!) so a fried of mine from work introduced me to The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. I wasn't sure how I'd like it. It's about a wizard who works out of Chicago and actually advertises himself as a professional wizard. Didn't really catch my attention at first, but holy cow! I love these books! You do have to keep in mind that this is adult fiction so there is swearing in it, so if you get offended by swearing then you probably should read it. I for one though absolutely love them! He is hilarious! Plus the characters in these books are all very real, to the point that you could see this actually happening. Definitely a series I'd recommend. Not cheesy like Harry Potter (which I also love), but realistic, sarcastic, hilarious, intense, nerve-racking, everything a good book should be. So far I've read up until book 7, and I'm just waiting for 8, 9 and 10 from my friend. In the meantime though, I'm FINALLY getting around to reading Angels and Demons. I read The Da Vinci Code 2 years ago on my honeymoon, and I've been dying to read Angels and Demons that whole time. Well, hopefully I can start and finish this weekend so I can finish the Dresden Files. Then hopefully I can stretch out the Dresden Files long enough to hold me over until Breaking Dawn comes out. Oh I can't wait! Jon hates me reading because I tend to forget about housework and stuff - so the laundry piles up a bit before I do it and the dishes are a disaster, but I can't help it! I love getting into a good book. Anyway, it was just on my mind and since there's nothing else in my life that's exciting right now, it's all I have to talk about! ;) Oh, on my next post I'll put up pictures from my sister Julie's wedding. Look forward to that! Well, until the next time that I'm extremely bored or if something other than work and housework ever happens! :)
