Fun With My Family
Beginning of 19 weeks
This is me and Jon floating around in the lazy river. The slides made me sick and dizzy, so I spent a lot of the day here, and Jon went on so many slides that he needed to relax as well. (Notice me cleverly hide my baby bump with Jon's leg. Bwa ha ha!)

Jeffrey and my Mom. (I made Jeffrey sit like that so he didn't cover up my mom)

Baby Brother Brian (he says that he always poses like this for pictures, what a goof) :)

This is the "turkey" I gave Brian - hard to see here, but it was really good! (For those who don't know what a turkey is, you yell out "Turkey!" and slap somone's skin with your hand and leave a handprint - it's pretty funny to do to little brothers).

Birthday girl! (I think she was trying to do a scary kung-fu pose, but started laughing)

Julie's husband Phil (I tried to get him doing a funny face, but it broke into a normal-ish smile right when I took the picture. Darn) :)

My man - (he hates pictures and always smiles as goofy as he can) He was so nice to me the whole time, he did make me go on one slide but then let me relax the rest of the day and still made sure that he came back to check on me or relax with me for a bit. He was very sweet. :)

Overall it was really really fun. We played in the water all day, and then I got really tired and sick and Jon and I had to bail around 6:30 or so (yeah, we were ONLY there for 6 hours, no big deal). :) Even with sunscreen though, I ended up getting burned all over! I'm just glad I wasn't one of the pregnant girls who wore the tiny binkini's and opted instead for a long tankini, because I don't think a giant sunburned belly sounds fun at all! :)
Alright, well I'm off to find out what my baby is now. Just as an update - the poll on the side of my blog shows that more people think we will have a boy (14:13), but word of mouth votes including people at work and all of the texts I got last night say we will have a girl (17:13), so it will be fun to see who's right. I just can't wait to stop calling my wiggler "it"! Wish us luck and cross your fingers that it's legs aren't crossed!

Kick Kick Kick
Anyway, I know that pretty much all of my friends are already mom's (at least the ones who read this blog) and this is all old news for you guys, but man that was exciting for me! I almost cried right here at my desk! But instead I had to finish my emails and put in some service tickets to get crap fixed, then I decided that I should put this in my blog now while I'm still excited about it. :)
Okay, so that was my news. In other news, I find out what I'm having in 2 weeks (eek!) I'll probably schedule the appointment tomorrow after my regular appointment. And something that is very exciting, I found out this morning that my friend Chelsea (Hardman) Smith just had her little girl! I think she had her yesterday, but little baby Serena (I looked on your Mom's blog for her name!) was 5lb 5oz and 18 1/2 inches long and delivered by c-section. Congrats Chels! I can't wait to see her!

Hard Squish?

Of course after that comment all I could think of was that my stupid belly is poking out and it's not even a baby doing it. Then I realized that I couldn't suck in very much because it was either extremely uncomfortable or impossible to a point. Then poking my stomach it was very hard. We'd just had lunch, so I dismissed it. Today however, it could just be my imagination but I swear it was bigger when I woke up before I ate anything. I also noticed it was harder to poke, and it was harder for me to suck in. Thinking I was crazy again I had Jon poke my belly and he was shocked at how hard it felt and is convinced it's a baby bump. So yeah, after convincing myself that I was just getting chunky, now I'm convinced it's a genuine bump. There's still a layer of squish on top, but that's nothing compared to the rest of it. Since everyone else said that they didn't start showing until the end of 4 months or during their 5th month, I'm not sure if I'm happy or upset by it, but I'm positive this time that it's not just me, even though I'm only 14 weeks...hmmm...
On a lighter note, we get to find out what we're having in 5 weeks! The doctor said that he always waits until 19 weeks so it's easier to tell, so I just have 5 weeks left. Yay!
