End of the 1st Trimester!

Yay! I'm practically done with the first trimester! Milestone! I've figured out my vitamin cocktail to make me not as sick (Unisom sleeping tablet at night with 1/2 B6, then another B6 in the morning), plus I've learned most of the foods that make me sick and I'm sticking to my diet of breakfast cereal, pot pies, and meat. I know, healthy huh? :) Plus, I think I'm getting my baby bump. Okay, it might just be because of all of the Honey Nut Cheerios I've been eating, but I swear there's a little something there besides flub. I'll take a picture when I'm more sure of it. ;)

The other thing is that after my appointment tomorrow morning, I think the next one will tell us what we're having! I'd really be happy either way. After seeing all of my cute nephews and how much fun they are, as well as Sharece's cute little boy, I think that a boy would be sooo fun! Plus I've always liked the idea of older brothers, so that's another bonus. But all of my little neices and our friends little girls are so cute and fun too, and they have more fun things to buy for them that a little girl would be so fun! I just want to know so I can plan more. :) I've started thinking that it might be a girl though. Of course I mentioned this to Jon and he said "Nope, we're having a boy". Not because he really thinks that, but because he likes to prove me wrong and likes to bet on anything he can. :) I don't know, it could very well be a boy, or a girl...Dang it I just want to know! Stupid waiting time. Well, I know that this was a relatively boring post, but thought I would write something because I just don't want to go to bed yet and I have nothing better to do.
I do want to ask the other mommies out there though, when did you start to see your baby bump? I'm just really wondering whether it's me or the baby showing, and want to see when you guys started to show so I have something a little more to base it off of. Look forward to your comments! (And don't forget to vote boy or girl on the right!)

A girl would be so fun to have but I hope you have a boy so that he and our baby can be friends. I am 21 weeks and am just barely starting to show. If you didnt know I was pregnant you would never tell. I think you still have a few more weeks. Plus you are so tiny it could even be longer.

I didn't tell people until I was 12 weeks along, and I remember thinking that without knowing that I was expecting everyone was probably thinking I was getting fat. I also think that you'll be able to notice your "baby bump" before others do. But I sure thought I had one at 12 weeks... little did I know.

Hopefully you'll start feeling better now that you're at the end of your 1st trimester. I was never sick, but I was tired ALL of the time. I started to feel more like myself around 4 months. I don't think I really started showing until I was 5 months along, but you're a lot skinnier than I am. I bet you'll start showing around 4 months.

I know what you mean! I didn't get ANYTHING until I knew what I was having, but my dr made me wait until i was 20 weeks to find out. but you can go to fetal photos and they'll tell you as early as 14 weeks what you're having! :D it was just out of my price range though. Anyway, I noticed my bump earlier than others, I had a ton of people not know I was pregnant when I was 5-6 months along. So yeah, everyone's different. :)

Your nasuea should be going down hill soon. With Skylar I started to show at 12 weeks. Then you get to the point where normal cloths don't fit and maturnity cloths don't fit. As for the a boy vs girl, being a nurse makes you realize that it doesn't matter what you get, as long as the baby is healthy. By the way, Coke a cola acts as an anti nausent, and works very well.

I can't wait to find out! I personally think you will have a boy...it just seems to run in our family for everyone (except me) to have a boy first...so that's my guess! I didn't start really showing (with my 1st baby) till about 20 weeks or so...but it was still the kind of in-between look...so people didn't know for sure if i was pregnant or just getting a little fluffy. But don't worry...it will start poking out in plenty of time then you'll wish it wasn't anymore!!

Mindy, thanks for your comments on my blog! You are so nice. I think going veg is definitely worth a try if you want to do it! If you ever decide to, let me know! :) I wish I had some input for you about the baby bump showing, but sadly I really know nothing about it, haha! But I'm glad you're through your first semester and I hope you're feeling better. And your baby will be so cute no matter what, but I can only imagine your anticipation. How fun! :)

We wanted a boy first, Kc cuz of sole survivor and me cuz every lil girl should have a big brother, but after the first or second month I knew it was a girl. Kc kept joking about divorce papers and needing a son, but Ky has had her daddy wrapped around her lil finger since the instant he saw her. Kc is so cute with his lil constant shadow, seriously, she goes wherever he goes and tinkers on vehicles with him too. As for baby bump I didn't get one until 5 months at the earliest and even at a week past my due date some peop;e were like "you're pregnant?, well you must be like only a few months along" ARGH!! When Ky was on the left side I didn't look preggers but when she rolled to the right I had a little lop-sided bump, guess cuz I'm missing a few organs, lol. I kinda hope you have a gril, there are so many adorable outfits and stuff for them. Hopefully you will get over the morning sickness phase soon.

It's always a glorious occasion when that dang first trimester is over!

As far as starting to "show", I think it always takes longer for others to notice you're pregnant when it's your first baby. Your tummy muscles are still tight (I can't even remember what that was LIKE!). But then again, you know your body better so you'll be the first one to notice, too. I think I was around 5 months along before I started to show when I was pregnant with Jack. With Lyla, it was a little earlier and then BAM! I looked like I had shoved a watermelon up my shirt. So hot!
